Sandra Miller, FNP, is a well-versed family nurse practitioner who attends to patients at Premier Family Medical in Pleasant Grove, Utah. She loves the Doctors and staff at Premier Family Medical. Premier Family Medical is a physician group that has been serving Northern Utah County for four generations. Sandra enjoys seeing patients from all age groups and enjoys the life stories that they each share and helping them to recover from all kinds of medical conditions. Sandra has worked in the medical field in various positions for over forty years and has started out as a Licensed Practical Nurse for 14 years working for the State of Utah. She then became a Registered Nurse for 17 years in the Intermountain Care System as a Labor and Delivery Nurse, in the Home Care System as a Manager and Educator, Nurse Practitioner for the University of Utah, Private Practice Dermatology and, again, at the State of Utah and Premier Family Medical for over 15 years. During that time, she had numerous positions that took her away from direct contact with patients and then went back to school again to leave Nurse Management in the IHC Home Care system to become a Family Nurse Practitioner and return to work more closely with patients. Sandra Miller, FNP, attended Rivers State University of Science and Technology in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and received her bachelor degree of science in nursing in 1973. Her credentials also include her master degree of science in nursing from the University of Phoenix (2001). Sandra is a CPR Instructor and local nurse educator as well as a Family Nurse Practitioner certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She enjoys reading all major nursing publications, books, and journals, and dedicates her spare time to traveling and going to her cabin. As a result of her outstanding performance in the field of nursing, The International Nurses Association (INA) has selected Sandra Miller, FNP, to be featured in the premier publication of The Worldwide Leaders in Healthcare. She feels that her success is attributable primarily to having had great mentors, especially her mother who is a nurse.
